Fun with Airport Security X-RAY Screeners

Fun with Airport Security X-RAY Screeners

One of my favorite artists, Evan Roth, is working on a project that will be released soon - the pictures say it all, it's a "carry on" communication system. These metal places contain messages which will appear when they are X-Rayed.
T.S.A. Communication is a project that alters the airport security experience and allows the government to learn more about you then just what's in your backpack.

Kansai International Airport Japan. Built on artificial island offshore

Kansai International Airport Japan, on artificial island

As the world’s population increases at a more-than-healthy rate and the cost of travel decreases, the number of people looking to travel by air is understandably on the rise. With this growing demand comes the need for more airports as existing ones struggle to cope with the millions of passengers passing through on a daily basis. So what happens when there’s no suitable land to build a new major airport or locals protest the new construction without hesitation due to noise pollution or other environmental implications?

Beijing International Airport

Beijing International Airport

Beijing just opened up its new airport terminal - world’s largest and most advanced airport building. It’s not only a great technological advancement but a great passenger experience. The opening last month was announced by a group 10 musicians that played string instruments at an opening ceremony attended by Chinese officials. “It is the epitome of China’s fast-growing economy and portrays our strong state power,” said Zhang Guobao, deputy director of National Development and Reform Commission, the country’s main economic planning agency.
