Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi (The Prophet's Mosque), the second holiest place in Islam, the second of the holy mosques, is at the very centre of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
The first thing that any visitor to Madinah sees is the mosque, with its ten very tall minarets reaching high into the sky.
